Who
Students will research Georgia's first people. May include one or more of the following:
Creek Indians, Cherokee Indians, Tomochichi, Sequoyah, Mary Musgrove, James Oglethorpe
What
Students may make the following:
model, poster, poem, song, Prezi, Powerpoint, movie, digital book, game, infographic, narrated slideshow, abc book, collage, padlet, quiz, study guide, flyer, or anything else approved by his/her teacher. * This flyer was created at smore.com (free web tool).
When
Students should be prepared to present their projects by Monday, March 16th.
Where
Students will continue researching famous Georgians all next week at school. Students using a digital format may work on this project during that time, but some projects such as models and posters will need to be made at home. Regardless of the format, we encourage your involvement, and hope you will assist your child as needed to make this a successful and fun learning experience!
