Happy Mother's Day!
A special shout out this newsletter to all of our fantastic 2nd grade Moms! I hope your day has been filled with love and appreciation because you are all wonderful!
I also hope you enjoyed your special surprise from your 2nd grader :) They felt very special putting together a little something for their Mom! It was a perfect way to finish up our plant unit by planting a flower of their own to gift to you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ORION!
Very Important Information
1. HOMEWORK PACKET: No more homework packets will come home! During MAP and ITBS testing Ms. Minor and I will not be giving Spelling/Vocab assessments. This week your child has ONE MORE Study Island homework assignment that should be completed by Friday, May 13th. This will be their last homework assignment for the year!
Students must complete at least 25 questions on each assignment to receive full credit. Their grade on study island will be their homework score.
IF you would like for your child to get some extra practice during the week other than Study Island, please encourage them to work on the MAP testing practice links below.
2. LIBRARY BOOKS: It is very important that your child returns any books that they have checked out! If you are unsure... please email me and I will let you know what your child has checked out!
3. TESTING HAS BEGUN! Please make sure your students are getting a great night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast every day for the next two weeks!
MAP Testing begins THIS WEEK!
