Learning. Growing. Collaborating & Achieving @KrumHighSchool
September 3, 2019
Greetings KHS Family!
The faculty and staff of Krum High School send a big shout out to all students for a successful completion of the first three weeks. Our campus has experienced growth this year, with 643 young people enrolled. Even with an expanding student population, we strive to work with all stakeholders in the development of our community’s young people. Thank you to everyone who attended events last week to support our students. There is nothing like seeing the stands full of supporters cheering on our young men and women.
In order to maintain active communication, we will distribute this newsletter each month. We want you to stay informed about activities at our school. Parents should expect students to have homework each night; whether in the form of an assignment, recreational reading, or vocabulary building exercises. We are glad your student is here and we look forward to working with you. Please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime.
On Friday we completed the first three weeks grading period and today our students were given their first progress reports for the 2019-20 school year. All of our teachers all have email addresses and there is a staff directory on our website. Email is often the easiest form of communication should you have a specific question regarding your student's performance in a class. Please do not hesitate to contact your student's teacher at any time.
This newsletter contains upcoming events, as well as the latest happenings at KHS. Thank you for allowing us to brag on our students and staff.
Go Bobcats!
