What's going on at Barge-Lincoln Elementary?
NPHS PFA Parent Talk Series
Healthy is the New Skinny (HNS) is dedicated to teaching girls about the harmful effects of media manipulation and offers a healthier, alternative perspective. HNS aims to
change the game of body image and challenge beauty “norms.” It serves as a platform that promotes a healthy and body positive lifestyle through the education and
empowerment of girls and women around the world. The talk will be tomorrow Tuesday, March 22nd at 7:00 PM in the NPHS PAC. All students and parents are encouraged to attend.

Learning Bonanza!
In the classroom, our Bobcats have transitioned well and their brains and bodies are being exercised daily. I'm sure your Bobcat(s) are coming home exhausted, as they've worked hard to make those brains stronger. Please help by ensuring your child is getting 8-10 hours of sleep per night, at the minimum.
Due to breakfast being served in the classrooms at 8:45am, students are encouraged to be at Barge AFTER 8:30am. Supervision is outside at 8:15am.
As a friendly reminder, Barge-Lincoln reinforces our three standards for learning and we'd love your assistance with reinforcing these at home, as well:
- Show Respect
- Make Good Decisions
- Solve problems
Thank you for being your child's first and most important teacher. We will work with you to ensure we provide a learning environment that is positive, safe, and fun-loving. Our learners have a bright future and a supportive school that will ensure we are reaching and teaching every student, every day!

Reading Testing---DIBELS
It is best practice for our teachers to communicate with families how each child performs at Fall parent conferences. However, please feel free to reach out to your student's teacher beforehand.
We'd love to share how your student performed!
