PHS WEEKLY UPDATE 9-10-18
WE ARR......ACCOUNTABLE, RESPONSIBLE, AND RESPECTFUL!
30 DAY AND BEYOND CHALLENGE
Remember, it takes about 30 days to change a habit, if you are focused and consistent, and if EVERYONE IN THE BUILDING is focused and consistent.
Our message is the same, repetitive, and most importantly KIND!
So.... Good Morning - Or Good Afternoon -- please put your cell phone away - thank you!
This message will be stated by everyone, and then you are to leave the situation. Do not engage with the student until compliance. Think about the “broken record” method. Eventually students will get tired of hearing it.
It is harmful to building positive relationships when you stand there and engage in an argument and demand compliance. “Get in, say something kind, state your expectations, and get out.”
Remember, we are to stick with the habit of "No Cell Phones Message" every day for the next 30 days and beyond!
