Superintendent Search Update

A Message From Dr. Ramos, Search Consultant

Dear Newark Community -

Since being appointed as the Superintendent Search Consultant, I have begun conversations with district and community stakeholder leaders. My next step is to schedule school community group meetings. As soon as these are scheduled, we will post all information on our W-FL BOCES (www.wflboces.org/newark) and Newark CSD websites. We look forward to connecting with you.

An important tool to collect information from all stakeholders is the Superintendent Search Survey. We will be launching the survey live on Monday, November 16, 2020. To access the survey, just click on the link provided. All survey information will be collected in a confidential manner. Students, staff, parents, and community members are invited to participate in the survey. The information gathered will be aggregated and used throughout the search process. On behalf of the Board of Education, I strongly encourage your participation. Your voice matters and we want to hear from all of you.

Superintendent Search Survey

The Newark Central School District Community is invited to participate in the Superintendent Search Survey.

An important step of a superintendent search process is collecting feedback from different stakeholder groups. We are asking that students, staff, parents and community members complete the Superintendent Search Survey. Please join us in providing your feedback to the Newark Board of Education on the desired qualities of your next school superintendent. The BOE will use this information to choose the next superintendent of schools.

The Superintendent Search Survey can be accessed from November 16 - 28, 2020 at https://bit.ly/3plr5P3 or www.wflboces.org/newark.

Any questions regarding the Superintendent Search Process should be directed to the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES District Superintendent, Dr. Vicky Ramos, Search Consultant at 315-332-7284.
