A Taste of Kindergarten

Is your child starting Kindergarten this July 2016? If so, please join us for Kindergarten Open House Registration Night on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. You and your child will be able to meet the Kindergarten teachers, visit classrooms, and learn more about what a great school `Aikahi is. Click here for more information.

`Aikahi 6th Graders Go To Windward District Science Fair

Congratulations to the six sixth graders who represented `Aikahi at the Windward District Science Fair on Friday: Noah Harris, Taylor Outtrim, Mia Campora, Kahiapo McKeague, Alana Kelley, and Max Nagel.

A special congratulations to Mia Campora who will be moving onto the Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair in March.

Thank you to Mrs. Heupel and all the teachers who help to foster students' inquiry and problem solving skills!

Turkey Trot Winners!

The PTA is excited to announce the winner of the Turkey Trot. As you recall, the classroom that raised the most money per student wins a pizza party from Bob’s Pizzeria. And, the classroom that had the most participation wins a frozen yogurt party from Island Yogurt.

Well, this year, there was ONE classroom that won BOTH prizes! The winner this year was Ms. Alameida classroom (B24). They raised a whopping $640 which is about $21 per student. And 17 out of 30 students contributed a least $1. Congratulations, Ms. Alameida’s class!! And, Ms. Alameida wins a manicure and pedicure from Kailua Nail Care!

2016 Keiki Great Aloha Run

Join us at the 2016 Keiki Great Aloha Run on Saturday, February 13, 2016! It is a safe, 1.5 mile run around the Neal Blaisdell Center & McKinley High School for keiki 12 years & under, their family, school staff and supporters. $15 from each registration will be donated to `Aikahi's PE Program. Early registration is $20 and ends on 1/22, after that it is $25. To register, go to

Geographic Exceptions (GEs)
