Principal Post
August 15, 2021
We are in the final countdown until we open the doors for the 21-22 school year. Our theme for this year is "Dream Big, Show Compassion, Start a Chain Reaction". Our students have been through a lot these past 18 months. While this pandemic is still with us we strive to provide the full extent of the HT experience in a safe way. This year we will dive into this theme with our students at their various grade levels and discover ways in which we can live this motto in our daily lives at school and at home.
We look forward to welcoming back the Rachel's Challenge program on September 9th where students will have the opportunity to learn about the life that Rachel Scott lived and how we can bring her spirit to our HT community. To learn more about Rachel's Challenge click here: https://rachelschallenge.org/our-story/ We hope you will join us the evening of the 9th in the school gym for the community presentation.
All class lists will be emailed the morning of August 17th. Family Folders will be ready for pickup on tables outside the gym during our meet and greet. We will welcome all students for meet the teacher night from 6:30-7:30. Masking is recommended for all non-vaccinated members of our community. Please bring all supplies that you would like to drop off prior to the first day of school. Our PTU has arranged for the Kona Ice truck to park in our North lot beginning at 6:45 pm. The cost is $3.00 with a percentage coming back to our PTU program. Thank you PTU!!
We are hopeful that this newsletter will provide answers to any questions you may have as we prepare to begin our new school year. You should expect this newsletter throughout the school year on Fridays to keep you informed. As always we are here to help and answer any questions that you may have as the year goes on so please don't hesitate to reach out.
Blessings,
Mrs. Kuchta and Mr. Modzeleski

I hope you all are enjoying your summer! It is hard to believe that school starts in two weeks. I am so excited to see everyone! I just wanted to remind those that have students with Action Plans or students that require medication while at school, all forms and medication must be turned in before the first day of school! I will need time to log all Action Plans and medications. New forms were placed in the ziplock bags with your students medication from last year. I have attached the forms just in case you need them. Please be sure that both the required parent and physician signatures are signed and dated.
You can bring forms and medications to the front office all next week (8/16-8/20) from 9:00am-11:00am. You can also bring on Tuesday, August 17th, from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Starting this year, a Health History Form, will need to be filled out for each student attending Holy Trinity Preschool and K-8th grade. A new one must be filled out each school year. Please be sure to fill out each section. These forms will be coming home in the first Family Folder.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Enjoy the last two weeks of summer!

Holy Trinity Lunch Information
Check out the September 2021 menu HERE
Please remember to pack lunches and drinks for your children from
Thursday, August 26 through Tuesday, September 7.
Lunch ordering is now open through September 5 at 6pm.
The cafeteria will open for service on September 8. We’re excited to get back to our normal service, and with that, a la carte will also return. Lunches include an entrée, two sides, fruit, and choice of milk or water. The student lunch cost is $4.00. In the event that your child has forgotten lunch, we will always provide him/her with a substitute forgotten lunch for a charge of $4.00, which will be added to their account. This cost includes milk or water. Milk and water will be available for purchase at a la carte. Remember when placing lunch orders to add extra monies in the account for a la carte purchases. We do not accept cash in the cafeteria.
The use of outside vendors affects the price of lunches. For example, Jimmy John’s Subs offer a larger 8” sub for ordering that will be available for $7.00. All Jimmy John’ lunches include a drink, chips, and a fruit. Subway lunches are available for $4.00, and additional six-inch subs may be purchased at a cost of $2.75. Pizza and sub companies will be alternated every other week. Vendor choices will include Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, Domino’s, Subway, and Jimmy John’s Subs.
We offer a free lunch program for families who qualify. Please contact Leanne Heitz for more information and an application.
NEW FAMILIES: In your family folder you will also find two forms regarding the online ordering program. There is a student ID number for each one of your students enrolled at Holy Trinity. This is used to setup and register your student with www.myschoolaccount.com . This website allows you to deposit monies from a checking account or credit card into an account that will be used at school for a la carte drinks and preordering lunches each month. Our cafeteria runs on a PREORDER basis only. Lunches must be preordered through our lunch ordering system by our set date each month. We do not accept cash in the cafeteria. Please be cognizant of this date, as a late fee will be assigned to your child’s account if ordering has not been completed and it becomes necessary to reopen the system for ordering.
