Pollseverywhere is another web 2.0 tool that allows students to use their own devices to answers questions with real time feedback and a way for you to check for understanding before the next school day!
This takes a little more planning on your part, but using a Google Form for exit tickets is another great way to check for understanding at the end of a class period or lesson. You can keep the same form and have students re-use the form at the end of every lesson or those concepts you know may be difficult for students.
Post it Plus!
No one says Exit Tickets need to be fancy and/or look like tickets. What about a Post-It? Nothing wrong with simply using a sticky note to check for understanding.
But, how do you keep all of those stickies organized? Would you like students to be able to keep them? What about possibly collaborating with them? Post-it Plus! is a great way to do that!
