From Our Counselor:
Hello Parents! I am so excited to be a part of the Life School this year as the campus counselor! We will be using the 7 habits of Happy Kids this school year to help your student be ready to learn, to lead, and ready for life. For the next five weeks we will focus on habit 1 which is being PROACTIVE! Being proactive means you're in charge of you! You are a responsible person. You take initiative. You choose your actions, attitudes, and moods. You do not blame others for your wrong actions. You do the right thing without being asked, even when no one is looking. Kindergarten and first grade will receive lessons in their classroom from me while second through sixth grade will receive lessons from the specials teachers. Please talk about being proactive with your student at home!
You can view more information about the habits at: http://www.theleaderinme.org/the-7-habits-for-kids
