Dear Pirate Families:

We cannot wait to see your student on Monday morning! This week our staff spent time preparing to have a great school year by setting goals for improvement, arranging classrooms, and learning more ways to be great teachers. Without a doubt, BHS is ready to have a great year.

This year our school is focused on having PURPOSE! We want each teacher, staff member, our our community to work with purpose to ensuring each young person we encounter is set up for a successful future. Our school community desires each of these amazing students to thrive as a Pirate. If we work with PURPOSE we know our students will leave after four years with PURPOSE.

In preparation of Monday, there are a few housekeeping items to bring to your attention.

1. If at all possible, try to get your student on a normal sleep schedule. Students with normal sleep habits do better at school.

2. Be prepared for slower traffic and possible delays during the first few days of school. The traffic flow between BHS and Hannah Cole Primary can be challenging. Give yourself some extra time and find an extra dose of patience.

3. Your student will receive a copy of their schedule in their first hour class.

4. If your student still needs a Chromebook, parking pass, or other item from the office please have them stop by on Monday morning.

We are excited to meet your student and to help them find their PURPOSE in life.

If you DID NOT complete the online registration or have not heard from First Student by 1:00 PM today (Friday), you may call the bus barn at 882-7421 to confirm your student's transportation plan.
