Tasks of the Day

#1. Begin lesson 2 by reviewing the notes on the brain. Review the information in the presentation. Once you have completed the presentation, check the button to the right of the lesson link. That will open the practice activities and the assignments and quizzes for the lesson.

#2. Have You Used Your Brain Today? Use the resources in the Practice section of the lesson and then take the quiz. You will have two attempts at this quiz but you will have to wait 30 minutes in between attempts. Use this time to study.

#3. Complete the PET Scan Scenario assignment. This assignment is not difficult but it will take some time. For this assignment, you will first explain which parts of the brain (use 1-2 structures for each for full credit) would be active on a PET scan during specific tasks, and then explain what would be the result or problem if that location was damaged. Make sure to follow all directions in order to get full credit.

#4. Sometimes we need more time on certain topics. The Take Two section is optional but is a great form of review if you struggled with any concepts from the lesson. Use this section to refresh and relearn the material.

Please let me know if you have any questions! Have a great day!
