Gratefulness in Giving
December...can you believe it? I know that while this month is a source of joy for so many, it can also be a time of sadness for others. My hope is that each of you are able to take a moment and just express gratitude for what you have. In a season where some have a high expectation of receiving, I ask that you give. Give of your time: play on the floor with your kids, have a game night. Give a smile to a stranger. Give a hug to your friends and family.
Giving Students a Voice in the Classroom
Read the follow article: http://www.ascd.org/publications/educational-leadership/sept96/vol54/num01/Giving-Students-a-Voice-in-the-Classroom.aspx
There are many good examples of strategies that you can implement in your classroom. Please choose 1-2 strategies that you will implement in class. Email me when you plan to do this so that I can come do a walk-through. You will not be "judged" on the success, I just want to see how you plan to use it.
