Volunteer News
Creating youth voice is an important part of developing youth programs that are engaging and supportive of youth interests. However each club may need a different level of youth involvement based on the needs, skills and age levels of the group. Extension Educator Betsy Olson, and former Extension Educator Mark Haugen shared some great insights into when and how much youth voice to offer in a blog post several years ago. We encourage you to read through it and consider where your club fits along the ladder of youth involvement.
Check it out here! Youth Voice - How much and when?
