The Japanese Internment Camps

Exposing the truth!

On May 15, 1942, all Japanese-Americans were ordered to go to Internment camps. While the government depicts the camps as very fun and comfortable, the reality is much, much different from that.

Claims vs. Reality

The Japanese were overcrowded into the camps

Here they are shown eating with barely any room to sit. They were forced to eat in very tight, uncomfortable spaces.

So why should we care?

The Internment Camps are an example of people being forced to move to a whole different world, just because of their race. If we do not recognize what happened and why it was wrong, it could easily happen again, which no one wants.
