Mendenhall December Newsletter
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
From the Desk of the Principal
The month of December is always an exciting and activity-filled month at MSE. We have many special events and activities going on as the holidays approach. More information about many of these are in the school newsletter below.
I would like to share some great news with you all- the new construction to add 14 more classrooms, a new gym, new student restrooms, and a new cafeteria along with several offices is going well, and expected to be completed by Spring Break. We intend to bring our 8th graders back to our Mendenhall building next school year. The best part? Our plan includes an outdoor playground!
Thank you to those parents who volunteered to help our food drive. We prepared and donated 22 food boxes over Thanksgiving week. I also want to thank our staff members for their donations to buy Turkeys for each box.
Lastly, as the holidays are approaching, I would like to thank all of you for your continued support of MSE. Our school is special because of all of you-- students, parents, staff, and community!
Enjoy the time with your family, friends and loved ones.
