Principal's Message
End of Year Prize givings
Due to the recommendations on gatherings and mandated restrictions in regards to Covid-19- Reporoa College has chosen to hold our prize giving a little differently this year.
Firstly, on the 19th of November at 1.45pm the Senior Prizegiving will be held. Only key staff and students from years 11 to 13 will be present. The rest of the school will be watching via a live feed in designated classrooms parents and caregivers will be able to view the prizegiving via a zoom link. A meeting code will be sent next week before the prizegiving.
On Friday the 10 of December the Junior prizegiving will be held with the same arrangements.
Please be aware that School will be closed on Thursday the 2nd of December for our final NCEA Day.

Vaccine Register for all Students aged 12 Years & Above
The Directive requires all registered schools who enrol students over the age of 12 years to maintain an up-to-date register detailing the COVID-19 vaccination status of these (eligible) students, beginning Monday 1 November 2021.
The privacy statements (including an updated privacy statement for eligible students) is included at the end of this letter.
Eligible students who have been vaccinated must provide evidence to the college by the 1st of January 2022 and must be one of the following: ● a screenshot of their vaccination record on My Covid Record (for those 16 and over) ● a vaccination certificate (which can be requested from the Ministry of Health) ● a letter from their GP.
These can be sent electronically to the college office, counter@reporoa.school.nz or delivered in person. If evidence is not provided to the college it will be considered that your child is unvaccinated. This may or will have implications on your child’s ability to participate in 2022 in any extracurricular activities.
