Hug students receive the Bilteracy Seal
Recently the State Legislature passed a bill to recognize dual language literacy in high school graduates--and to no ones surprise, this has been an excellent way to recognize some of the skills that our students have.

International Economic Summit
Hug HS was also in the news recently with it's International Economic Summit. This is an annual event where we pair up with the Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows on 9th Street, who offer their facility and lunch to all Hug seniors. The seniors themselves are divided into countries, and they learn all about the economic conditions of that country. Their goal by the end of the summit is to have traded with other countries and end up improving their economy.
This year we were fortunate enough to have Greater Nevada Credit Union for sponsoring us this year! It was great!

Hug turns 50!
We opened in 1968, and we are excited to celebrate our 50th birthday in 2018. We want to celebrate in style!! If you have ideas and/or would like to be on the committee to make this event truly special: fill out this form here!
We will have a meeting at Hug before our next home football game to discuss it! Oct. 7th at 6 pm, we hope to see you there!
