End of Year Evaluations
GT end-of-year evaluations were sent home today (or before today) in a manila envelope. Please read and discuss these with your child. They do not have to come back, but if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to write on them and send them back. You may also contact any of your child's teachers if you would prefer to do so this last week of school. One copy of the evaluations will go in their cumulative folders. Have a great summer!
Teens have an important developmental job. They are learning to think for themselves and to separate from the adults in their lives to map out their own journeys. The teen years allow our kids to come into their own and play with their identity. This can be painful and cause chafing from time to time, but ultimately, if we can be mindful of their ultimate job, we can better embrace and support their journeys. Click here to read more.

Spring Evaluations
Teachers and students are required to fill out an evaluation on their participation in the GT program in May. This year students will also receive evaluations from other core and elective teachers so that we get a complete picture of how their gifts are demonstrated in all classes. The evaluations will not be mailed this year. Instead they will go home in a large envelope with students.
