What is Natural Gas?
Natural gas is a fossil fuel used as a source of energy for heating, cooking, and electricity generation. It can also be used to fuel vehicles.
How does it work?
Natural gases can be used to generate electricity in various ways. The most consistent way to form electricity is to burn fossil fuels in a boiler to heat water which then produces steam to generate a turbine that creates electricity.
History of Natural Gas
French explorers discovered native gases that were leaking through out Lake Erie. William Hart dug the first successful natural gas well in the U.S .
Where is Natural Gas located?
The top places that natural gas can be located is Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Louisiana. The natural gas is currently being used for powering a household like cooking and heating.
Advantages for Natural Gas
It has fewer impurities, it has less chemical complex, and its combustion generally results in less pollution.
