Anything Can Be Accomplished When We All Work Together...
From The Desk of The Principal...
Dear CMS Families:
Today marks the official day parents can access student final grades from Term #2. Please see the information below in order to access the Community Portal. As always, please reach out to your child's teachers if you have questions. We will continue to monitor and track student performance as we head into Term #3.
Please use the Community Portal to access student grades

The school committee recently voted to change our scheduled Showcase Night to a Parent Conference day. These will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. The times will be 1:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. The conferences will all be virtual. More information will be coming out soon.
Model A Schedule Changes
On Monday, January 25, 2021, we will pivot to the school committee approved Model A schedule, which increases our SLT (Structured Learning Time). See the video above for an overview. The biggest changes are as follows:
- All students will attend afternoon CORE live remote sessions
- Unified Arts classes will be extended 10 minutes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday to 40 minutes.
- Students will have a full day of synchronous learning on Wednesdays.
See Student Schedules Below:
Cameras On - Please
We are reaching out to all caregivers to assist us in this process. In order to maximize LIVE synchronous remote learning, we need student participation within the sessions. Yes, that means having cameras on. Teaching to a blank screen is counterproductive to the learning process. Therefore, it's expected cameras are on during live remote teaching sessions.
Update To Our Scheduling Model - Monday, January 25, 2021
As of Monday, January 25, 2021, we will have an updated SLT (Structured Learning Time) schedule. This change will impact live connection times for students to teachers on Wednesdays and in the afternoons. Stay tuned for more information as I will be providing it next week.
