First Semester Exams
The First Semester Exams, which traditionally took place after winter break, will now be held from Tuesday, December 19 to Thursday, December 21. This alteration is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the learning experience for our students and streamline our academic schedule.
In the upcoming weeks, you can expect further communication with detailed information about the bell schedule and exam timetable, ensuring everyone is well-prepared for this shift.
National Honor Society Induction - November 2
NHS members are invited to attend our induction ceremony on Thursday, November 2.
Students should plan to arrive starting at 6:15. The yearbook photo will be taken at 6:45 p.m. in the cafeteria. The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium followed by a dessert reception in the cafeteria.
Wake Up! to School Breakfast
Cedar Springs Public Schools is excited to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students for the 2023-2024 school year thanks to the Michigan Healthy School Meals Program!
Did you know studies have proven that kids who eat breakfast achieve higher academic scores, are more alert in class, visit the school nurse less often, and are better behaved in school? If morning meals are difficult for your family, let the School Breakfast Program help you out!
No advance registration is necessary! All students are welcome every day!

High school seniors, you have the opportunity to win a $2,000 college scholarship by submitting an essay on the topic: “LMCU is celebrating its 90th birthday! What would you like to see celebrated by the time you’re 90?”
