Many Hands, One Mason
September 16, 2018
Dear Mason Families,
Please consider joining us for our first PTO meeting of the year this Tuesday (9.18) at 7pm in the Mason media center. This is a great opportunity to be involved and to really learn how you can support the learning that takes place on a daily basis at Mason! Remember our challenge is to have every parent come to at least one PTO meeting this year! We will also have our first Coffee with the Principal meeting this Tuesday from 6-7pm in the media center! Our topic of conversation will be how to best support your learner at home. Feel free to come prepared for with questions and ideas on how we can best support each other.
Have a wonderful weekend and Go Lions,
Roy Bishop, Jr.
Principal
Our thoughts are with the Fuller Family: As many of you may have heard, the Fuller Family suffered the lost of their son (9th grader at North) this past week. They currently have a child at Mason and several people in the Mason community have decided to create a GoFundMe page for the family. A link to the page is below... Lets continue to keep them in our thoughts....

Box Tops for Education
Just a reminder that Mason Elementary is a Box Tops for Education participant.
Each classroom has a special Box Tops container. All you need to do is look for Box Tops coupons on your favorite products. Clip the coupon off. Send it in to your child's classroom, or drop off in the office. There is a container there too!
Our school earns dollars to spend on our students. Last year we earned just over one thousand dollars!
Our schools Box Tops Coordinator is Mrs. Gillette.
Thanks for participating!
September’s Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) Focus
Hallway Behavior- We are working extremely hard at making sure we are conducting ourselves in a positive way in the hallway. Our goal is to make sure we are keeping our school as safe as possible and part of that is making sure we understand the expectations for the hallway. Please ask your child to tell you what they are expected to do in the hallways at Mason.
