WORDS FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
I’ve been so honored to have been the principal of Heritage for the past three years. I will never forget the wonderful people I’ve been able to get to know while here. You were warm and welcoming when I first arrived and have been a joy to work with since. We’ve had a great year, especially considering the unusual circumstances brought on by the pandemic. Everyone wore their masks even though they were uncomfortable. And they washed and sanitized their hands so we could be in school in person together. Students, teachers, and parents learned how to utilize remote learning using devices and Canvas. Everyone made the best of the circumstances we were given, and I am so proud of everyone for shining during this challenging year. Thanks for letting me be a small part of your lives. I’m a better person because you were part of mine.
Yesterday was the last day our sixth grade students were Heritage Huskies and we wanted to give them a proper send off. Students, teachers, and staff came out of their classrooms and lined the halls. The sixth grade students walked through the halls and everyone clapped and cheered for them. We clapped them out and wished them good luck as they now moving on to junior high. It was very touching saying goodbye to them.

Heritage Summer Boot Camp
We are excited to offer a Summer Boot Camp to our Heritage Elementary students. We are looking at providing an experience that will give students a jump start into literacy for the upcoming school year, as well as incorporate STEM experiences that are directly devoted to the academic success of your child in math and reading, while helping them relate this to the real world around them.
