This UDL example pertains to formulating alternative ways to effective instruct the students. With there being so many different learning styles, it is imperative for teachers construct multiple ways stimulate the cognitive processes of their peers and students.
Age Group and Content Material
The focal age group are between the ages of 4-5. This is Pre-K and Kindergarten students and the content material to focus on is counting from 0 to 100 and in increments of 1, 2, 5, and 10.
The resource are the common core standards of Florida.
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects) (Common Core Standards Initiative, 2015).
