DRAGONFLYER JR. – GRADES K-2
Attention all K-2 students! Would you like to contribute to Winchester’s Dragonflyer Junior, our school’s newsletter that is created by kids? If so, we would love some illustrations of Healthy Heroes. What does that mean? Simple, draw and color a super hero that is made out of fruits and vegetables. Have fun and be creative. Keep in mind, it’s Winter and maybe your character is outside! Include your name, teacher and grade on your picture. Scan it in, and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 15th.

Parent Camp 2019 Focuses on Issues Facing Kids Today
New to Parent Camp this year is a session for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade called Kids Empowered. While their parents attend Parent Camp sessions, Kids Empowered participants will rotate through five stations where they will learn practical skills that will help them navigate challenging social situations both in and outside of school. Parents will also have a chance to attend a related Kids Empowered session through Parent Camp so they can reinforce these skills with their children at home. There is a $10 fee for Kids Empowered and participation is limited to the first 80 registered students.
