Together We: Learn, Grow, Lead
Grange Hall Families,
As you are now aware, CCPS will be closed through April 13. Our goal is to keep our students engaged in thinking and learning. Please refer to the information below to help guide you through this week. I will continue to keep you informed as we navigate this together.
Grange Hall Virtual Office Hours
Teachers, Counselors and Admin will be available Monday - Friday from March 23 - April 3 between the hours of 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. These hours will provide a consistent time that students and parents can reach out to ask questions and share information.
Instruction
Teachers have worked hard to prepare "GHES Learning Resources site" for your children to keep them engaged in thinking and learning during the extended school closure. Our special education teachers have all prepared packets for their students. We have hard copies labeled with student names and the materials will be sent to you electronically by your child’s case manager.
- All new instructional resources will be posted to our learning site on Monday afternoon.
- Paper copies of instructional resources will be available for parent pick-up on Tuesday, March 24 from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Chesterfield County Public Schools has created an online learning hub: CCPS Instructional Supports for Parents, which will house instructional supports and resources for the county, as well as for each individual school.
Community Resources
Comcast is offering free Wi-Fii for 60 days to low income families during the Corona Virus outbreak. Normally the Wi Fi is $9.95 per month for those same families. Please click here for details.

Kindergarten Online Registration is OPEN!
If you are a family of a rising kindergarten student or know of a family who will be sending a child to kindergarten during the 2020-21 school year, it’s time to start thinking about kindergarten registration.
Great news! We’ve got an opportunity to save some time on April 16, which is Kindergarten Registration Day at every elementary school in Chesterfield County.
Visit https://mychesterfieldschools.com/family-and-community-engagement/preparing-for-school/student-registration/kindergarten-registration/ and preregister for kindergarten today. Doing so should cut in half any wait time on Kindergarten Registration Day.
Please remember to share this message with any family you know who has a rising kindergarten student!
