We Are A.R.M.Y. Strong!!

Each day, we say the Continental Creed: "As a member of the Continental Army, I promise to be Accountable, Respectful, Motivated to Learn, and do mY best." We also remind students of our school goal of achieving a letter grade of a B in three years or less....Students will hear us say "Are you helping us get to a B in 3?" If we all focus on being ARMY Strong every day, we will reach this goal!

Reserve Boys Basketball - City Champtions

Congratulations to a job well done to Mr. Zeller, Mr. Mullin and the reserve basketball team for winning the city championship. The Continental Family and community is extremely proud of you.

ISTEP+ Part I Testing Continues

ISTEP+ continues this week! We will continue ISTEP+ testing this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please help us prepare students for this week of testing with plenty of sleep each night (at least eight hours), a solid breakfast in the morning (no sugary foods or sodas) and a pat on the back for encouragement. We will be sharing with students the role they play in helping us reach our goal of "B in 3". Students will begin testing promptly at 7:45 each day Tuesday through Thursday. Please make sure your child is at school on time and attends each day unless they are sick. Our school grade is based not only on performance but also on attendance and participation for this test. We need all of our students at school and taking the test to ensure accurate letter grades. Please contact Ms. Branson if you have questions or concerns. Thank you in advance for helping us encourage our students to do their best.

School Make-up Days

The EVSC has cancelled school seven days due to inclement weather. There are three days built into the schedule which leaves the district with four additional days to make up. A connect-ed call was sent out requesting input on how to make up those days. The proposed options are 1. Four days after Memorial Day 2. Four Saturdays 3. Utilizing four days during spring break 4. Four virtual learning days. If you did not receive the connect-ed call you can provide feedback by calling (812) 435-EVSC and leaving a message with your student's name and phone number.

No programs this week for ISTEP+

We will not be hosting any programs this week due to ISTEP+. Please make arrangements to get home after school each night unless you've made prior arrangements to stay with a teacher. We will not have 4:30 busses this week.
