FOUR REASONS TO CELEBRATE

It used to be that checking off ten items from the to-do list in a day was cause for celebration. Nowadays, we might as well do a happy dance when we can secure our favorite brand of toilet paper as the supply chain improves. This week, we have four wonderful reasons to celebrate. We've got Teacher Appreciation Week, Cinco de Mayo, National Nurse's Day and, of course, Mother's Day! Whatever your reason, or maybe you have something completely different in mind, take some time to celebrate yourself and those you care about most.

Online Teaching Strategies for K-12 Educators: Basics for Beginners to Intermediate Users

Drexel University’s School of Education and Drexel University Online are proud to offer this FREE webinar to our K-12 friends and colleagues.


Event Description: In this interactive webinar, Dr. Michael Kozak and Dr. Samantha Mercanti Anthony will take K-12 educators through a step-by-step process for setting up an online learning environment, establishing protocols and procedures, scheduling small group instruction in breakout rooms, fostering teacher-student and student-student interaction, communicating with students and parents, and establishing strategies for teaching, learning, and assessment. Various educational and technological resources applicable to grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade will be explored.
