Clouds
There are many different types of clouds in the atmosphere. Clouds are a thick mass of suspended water drops or ice crystals . Clouds can come in many different shapes, sizes, and even colors
Cumulus Cloud
They are low level clouds
They are very White and fluffy, they look like cotton balls in the sky.
They bring fair weather
There are different types of cumulus clouds.
Cumulonimbus- can build up really tall. May produce tornadoes and other storms. look like an anvil on the top
Altocumulus- alto means mid level . Bring fair weather
Cirrocumulus- Cirro means high . These clouds are really high up in the sky. They bring fair weather
Stratocumulus- low clouds. Bring good weather, strato means low .
stratus Cloud
Covers the entire sky
can have a light mist or drizzle
low cloud
grey-ish in color
looks like a blanket covering the sky
don't reach the ground
there are different types of stratus cloud
- Nimbostratus clouds- low rain producing clouds , dark clouds
- Altostratus- mid level clouds, may produce rain
- cirrostratus- high clouds

are really high up in the sky
cirrus means curled
they look thin and whispey
bring fair weather
