Ms. Younger, a Virginia native, has worked as a clinician, designer, technician, and visual instructor for scholastic and independent guards and marching bands throughout the east coast and midwest. Nicole started her teaching career working for Mid Atlantic Camps (Virginia) under the guidance of Tracey Hedrick.

Ms.Younger has lived in Houston, Texas for 2 years where she was the colorguard and winterguard director at Tomball High School. While in Texas she has worked with ATX Winterguard, Spirit Independent Winterguard from the University of Houston, Identity Winterguard and Monarch Independent World Percussion, McNeil High School Winterguard, San Marcos High School and New Caney High School. Last summer, she was on tour with Genesis Drum & Bugle Corps as a colorguard technician. This summer Nicole will be touring with The Colts on the colorguard staff.

Before coming to Texas, Ms. Younger has taught independent and scholastic colorguards and winterguards in Virginia, North Carolina, New York, Kentucky and Ohio.

Ms. Younger has performed with Revelation Winterguard(VA), O2 World(OH), Patriots World(NY), Patriots Drum and Bugle Corps(NY), Empire Statesmen Drum and Bugle Corps(NY), and Rochester Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps(NY).

Some of Ms. Younger’s favorite things are cooking and baking, watching independent films, listening to podcasts (NPR is her favorite), going to live music shows, going to gym, visiting with family and friends, dancing, spinning and shopping!
