Free Meals Coming Back Soon

We recently received news that Governor Lamont is preparing to approve funding that would reinstate free school meals for all students as part of a larger legislative bill 6671.

While we await details regarding this program's implementation date, we want to remind all families that school meals (breakfast & lunch) can be purchased each day.

Please remember to fund your child’s account or bring his/her account back into the positive if there is a negative balance. Families can access MySchoolBucks at: MySchoolBucks. Please note that checks or cash are also accepted.

Families who qualify, will continue to receive school meals through our free or reduced meal programs. Families can access applications HERE. Free and Reduced Lunch Program Additional information will be shared as soon as we know the exact date that free meals will return.

Internet and Social Media Safety Presentation Coming in March

On March 13 we will hold a presentation by Scott Driscoll for parents/guardians to help navigate the world of social media with your teens.

Scott Driscoll spent most of his 29-year career in law enforcement as a youth officer with a local Connecticut police department, building a rapport with youth in the community and in the school system.

While serving on a federal task force combatting crimes against children, he conducted undercover investigations of crimes committed by people using computers and the Internet. Scott’s work reinforced his desire to inform people how they can protect themselves from the potential dangers of technology in an ever-increasingly-connected world.

Scott founded Internet Safety Concepts in 2007 with the goal of educating people with a clear message: if we don’t consider safety while we are online and using other technology, we can put ourselves and others in danger.
