AMS Chorus News
Weekly update for the Chorus at Austin Middle School
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL EDITION!!
We Made It!! The buses have gone, the halls are empty, and the silence is a little eery! But it has been a fabulous year and the memories we have made will linger for years to come! I am so proud of all of our chorus students and what they have accomplished this year. It has been several years since all 3 groups have earned Superiors at LGPE. Your children are amazing...and it's what makes teaching them so much fun! I can't wait to do it all again in just a couple short months!
I would like to wish our 8th grade students and families a final good-bye as you move on to high school. Whether you continue on in chorus or not, I hope that you always look back at your years in the AMS chorus and know you were loved and that you were an important part of our chorus family! You have all made lasting impressions on me and left an imprint on my heart. Enjoy high school, and please keep in touch, or say hello at a football game! There may even be an opportunity to come back and sing with us at an alumni event that is in the works for next year. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the details!!
For those of your returning next year, I have included a few dates for you to go ahead and put on your calendar! August 1st will be here before you know it!
Have fun, relax, travel safely, and most of all, have a GREAT summer! (And maybe sing a little, too!)

PERFORMANCE DRESSES
8th Graders: Wondering what to do with your chorus dress now that you are leaving AMS? Consider donating it back to the chorus. This helps us to be able to have a rental program, as well as help students who come into chorus mid-year after dress orders have been completed. You may drop your dress off anytime next week through Thursday in the front office!
