First, a big welcome to all of our new students who are starting or continuing their educational journey at Kingsford School. We wish you all the very best as you become part of the Kingsford whanau.
Acting Principal’s Panui
It has been great to see the majority of our tamariki at school over the last two weeks, with our daily attendance now reaching 80% plus. Here at school we do understand the anxiety some whanau face in sending their tamaiti back to school, and take our responsibility for their wellbeing and their learning very seriously.
As you know, it’s great for any child’s wellbeing and learning to be at school with their friends, teachers and other school staff. You also know that we have very good systems in place to keep everyone as safe as possible.
If you have any concerns about sending your child to school, please get in touch – our team is here to help. We want children to be at school and engaging in learning with their friends.

For those whanau already using our app, please make sure you update the classrooms you receive alerts from. See the video below on how to update your alert subscriptions.
Science week with our Year 2's
This week the Year 2’s have been doing different science experiments everyday. We have had a lot of fun getting our hands messy and learning about different reactions that occur. Here are some photos from some experiments that we did.
