ELEVATING VOICES & EMBRACING EQUITY
MARCH 18, 2022 / NASHOBA REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
SAVE THE DATE: March 18th
Every student in our district deserves the opportunity to come to school, to be seen and heard, to feel safe, and to have access to high quality instruction. We, as a district, can create an equitable environment and design inclusive learning experiences that embrace diversity. Building on our most recent professional development theme of social emotional learning, educators can apply SEL competencies like self-awareness, social awareness, and relationships to explore diversity, equity, and inclusion.
This year’s full day of professional development will offer you the opportunity to explore four learning strands: culturally responsive pedagogy, centering equity and social justice, safe and inclusive learning environments, and integrating SEL with academic instruction. With over 40 sessions to choose from and two dynamic guest speakers, Nashoba is proud to offer educators a powerful, thought-provoking, and inspiring learning experience.
