Dear Parents / Carers,
We have had another busy week in school this week with online worships and assemblies allowing us all to be together from within our own bubbles! As we are starting to become used to the 'new normal', routines are now working well and children are settling fully to the business of learning.
I have been delighted to announce our new Head Boy and Girl girl today following excellent speeches. Well done to Harvey and Amelie who are both great role models and will represent our school very well. I look forward to working with them soon. We have also announced our eight team captains for this year, and again I am sure they will do an amazing job leading their teams. Well done to all of them! These ten children will make up our School Council for this school year.
As the weather is now becoming more autumnal, please ensure that your child has a coat each day and wellies left in school. Due to the restrictions, we are having to use the field at playtimes as well as the playgrounds and therefore it is important that the children are able to keep their feet dry.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Karen Williams
Head Teacher

Letter for Parents About Covid-19 Symptoms
Public Health England have produced a letter for schools to distribute to parents which explains when a person requires a coronavirus test and what the symptoms of coronavirus are. The Department would be grateful if you could share and circulate this letter amongst parents at your school.
The intention of the letter is to help prevent children being taken out of school unnecessarily and answer some of the questions parents may have around testing.
