Klein Intermediate: GT Falcons are Rocking Research!

At Klein Intermediate I have witnessed some amazing things happening with our Gifted and Talented students. We have several of our GT students taking advantage of the wonderful opportunities given to them for their Research Pathways, such as Pentathlon and Robotics.
Many students, though, have decided to pave their own path into greatness! They have chosen to research topics that reflect their personalities, their interests and their talents.
One of our talented 6th grade students has decided to research his dream job: Neurosurgeon. He is excited to learn wonderful things about the position he hopes to hold one day.
Another one of our talented 6th graders is taking a dream trip to Uruguay. He has taken into consideration all of the wonderful cultural aspects of the country and thought in depth about what he would like to do when he travels there.
Our 8th grade students are also out of this world!
One of our 8th graders is researching Dyson Spheres. In case you were wondering what a Dyson Sphere is, the student explains that “A Dyson Sphere is a megastructure designed as a hollow sphere made out of solar panels that encases the sun and harnesses all of the energy.” This young man has incredible talents.
Another one of our 8th graders is researching fashion. Not fashion from today, but fashion (as it has progressed) during World War II. She is taking a journey through the eyes of the women, and how their attire has changed according to what was happening in the world around them.
This is just a sneak peek into the wonderful world of GT at Klein Intermediate. These students amaze me more and more each day.
