Information Regarding Virtual AP Testing

  • Step1: Download the digital app

    • Students must download and install the digital testing application on an approved device they'll use on exam day. If they'll be testing on a school-managed device, your school will complete this step for them or provide necessary instructions. All students must log in to the app with their College Board username and password to complete installation.

  • Step 2: Use Digital Practice

    • Practicing with example questions in the digital testing app is the best way to prepare for digital exams. Digital practice also confirms that students' testing computers work as expected before exam day.

  • Step 3: Complete Exam Set up
    • For each digital AP Exam students take, they must complete the exam setup step in the digital testing app. This step loads the exam onto the computer they're going to test with. Completing this step is required 1–3 days before each exam. Without taking this step for each exam, students won't be able to test. Here's an exam setup overview you can share with students.

  • Step 4: Check into Exam
    • Students are required to check in to each of their digital exams 30 minutes before the start time to complete final pre-exam checks. Make sure they know what time the exam starts in your time zone. Students can only check in on the device they used to complete exam setup.

New On-Campus WiFi for Students & Visitors

There is a new WVUSD WiFi network to which students and visitors can connect that DOES NOT require a username and password to join. It is WVUSD_BYOD. BYOD is short for “Bring Your Own Device.” It is similar to joining WiFi when you are at Starbucks or at a hotel. This network has been set up in preparation for more students bringing personal devices to school. Feel free to share this information with students and visiting guests.

Guidance Office Updates:

Updated information on registration summer appointments and reopening are posted in your grade level websites. Please visit your grade level's web page for the more current news updates.

Congratulations to our Brahma Swimmers!

Congratulations to our Brahma swimmers who are undefeated this season in the Hacienda League. Of our 36 varsity swimmers, 34 swam their season or lifetime best in their events. 6 Brahmas automatically qualify for CIF Playoffs.

Under Head Coach Isabelle Cheng, our Brahmas broke FOUR school records. Junior Kai-Min Tsuei dominated the 50 free record set in 2016 as the first girl to swim under 24 seconds, with a time of 23.88. Her time placed her first in league, got her a CIF automatic time, and got her an All-American Consideration time. She also broke her OWN 100 back record set in 2019 at 56.00 with a time of 55.45. Her time placed her first in league and got her a CIF automatic time. The 6 league coaches voted her to be the Hacienda League Girls MVP.

Junior Matthew Chai dominated the 500 free record set in 2017 with a time of 4:23.39. His time placed him first in league, got him a CIF automatic time, and got him an All-American Automatic time. He also placed first in the 200 Free. The 6 league coaches voted him to be the Hacienda League Boys MVP.

Senior Vincent Cheng, Senior Stephen Lee, Junior Charlie Lin, and Junior Brady Xie broke the school record in the 200 free relay set in 2018 with a time of 1:27.44. Their time placed them first in league and earned them a consideration time for CIF.

Looking forward, our swimmers will be notified if they have made it to CIF on May 23, and their CIF race is on May 27 (Graduation day!).
