FSE Weekly Update
There's a Superhero in Each of Us!
October 21, 2016
Jennifer Berrones, FSE Guardian of the Galaxy!
Jennifer, thank you for taking care of the jobs that most wouldn't go near and with a positive attitude! We are thankful you are our daytime custodian!
Also thank you to Jennifer Pelech, The Rotation Team, Tracy, Tami, Cynthia, Coach Montoya, Erin Juarez, and Mrs. Mehne for being superheroes this week!
John F. Kennedy said, "We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives."
Safety Audit this Year
1. Wear staff ID badges at all times so that first responders would know we belong here.
2. Never prop doors open. We installed keypads to address this. If you have a keypad error, please let Kelsi know so that your ID can be reprogrammed.
McGruff Set To Visit PreK through 2nd grade!
McGruff will be at Floresville South Elementary gym on Friday, October 28 at 1:00 to visit pre-k -2nd grade students. He will bring red ribbons, pencils, and badge stickers to give out to the students. Rotation teachers will take Kinder students to the gym at 12:45. Pre-k, 1st, and 2nd grade need to be in the gym by 12:55 so that we can ready for McGruff at 1:00.
Coach Montoya will take 5th grade rotation students outside on that day.
Education Galaxy!
Teachers, don’t forget about this wonderful resource! We have purchased the license again this year and are excited to see the students utilizing it. We’ve even added the Writing component for both 3rd and 4th grade students. The first step is creating your class, which is super simple. Students can access this from home! If you need help with this, please see Mrs. Embrey for assistance.
