Please help us support our Harmony Families!
We were very fortunate that our Harmony Garland schools suffered no damage in the 12/26/15 tornadoes, but many of our families were effected. Several of them lost their homes and most lost a large amount of their possessions. Harmony DFW has set up a GoFundMe account with a very aggressive fundraising goal. This is a Harmony-wide initiative. All funds raised will be split equally between HSA Garland and HSI Garland to go directly to the families. If you can, please consider donating and/or sharing this campaign on your social media. Thank you for helping us during this difficult time for these families.

This is a message from Harmony Public Schools in regards to our policy on weapons in our campuses and facilities. HB 910 went into effect on January 1, 2016 which now allows a license holder to openly carry a handgun in a shoulder or belt holster rather than concealing the weapon. However, under state law, school buildings will continue to be prohibited areas. Pursuant to this, regardless of whether a weapon is carried concealed or openly holstered, it will not be allowed inside a Harmony school or facility. For the safety of our students, staff, and visitors; our schools and facility will remain weapon-free. Should you have questions or concerns, please contact your campus administrators. In addition we have sent out an email with a letter regarding our policy to all parents. Thank you for your support on this matter and we wish you and your family a joyous new year.
