Help Me! I Am Struggling... What Can I Do??
Greetings Pretzels!
It is hard to believe this, but the mid-term for Q1 will be coming up in just a few short weeks! If you are struggling in a class, we have several supports available for you to use!
1. Academic Support - Everyday from 8:10-8:30, you can access any of your teachers via Zoom to ask questions about homework or anything you need help with.
2. Wednesday Schedule - you can access any of your teachers via Zoom to ask questions, meet with them about your progress in class, or find out what you need to do to improve your grades.
3. Pretzel Pick-Me Ups - If you feel like you need someone to talk to, click on the Pretzel Pick-Me Ups link to schedule an appointment with one of our support staff.
4. Advisory Tutoring - On Blue (even) Days, there are NHS students that are available for tutoring during 8th hour Advisory. If you are interested in getting tutored, please email Ms. Gray @ agray@pretzelpride.com so she can arrange/schedule this with the NHS students. Once she has a tutor arranged for you, she will contact you and let you know the information to join the Zoom for tutoring. NOTE - You will need to check into your assigned Advisory Zoom for attendance and then let your teacher know that you are going to attend tutoring with Ms. Gray.
We are here to help you - please ask!
Mrs. Llewellyn

Junior High Student Council Information
There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in running for 20-21 Student Council next week.
Day: Wednesday, September 16th
Time: 1:00 PM
Where: On Zoom https://zoom.us/j/95042579635?pwd=SnFvcStaei9jYm83cXFkcjFOcTBzQT09
Who: Anyone who wants to help create a strong Pretzel Community and grow Pretzel Pride even when we're apart!
Details: Four representatives will be elected from each class for a total of 12 representatives. Students who are elected will have responsibilities outside the regular school day and could include some in-person meetings (social distancing and masks will be required). You must be willing to be the face and voice of Pretzel Pride and appear in social media posts and videos.
Questions: Write them down so you can ask them during the meeting. I bet others have similar questions and we can answer them together so everyone gets the same information.
See you soon!
Mrs. Tom
FFA Officer Meeting to be held September 14th
SADD - Students Against Destructive Decisions Announcement
I'm Ms. Kennedy, sponsor of SADD. If you aren't sure what SADD is, it stands for Students Against Destructive Decisions. We are a club that works to promote healthy lifestyles. We are responsible for putting on an amazing After Prom to keep students safe while having a great time, and we also put on other activities like those that occur during Red Ribbon Week (dress up days, the Grim Reaper activity, assembly to inform students of the effects of impaired driving, etc.). If you are interested in running for office, please let me know by joining our Google Classroom (wnuqotm) and commenting with your name and the office you'd like to run for. I would like to host elections very soon. We need to elect a President, VP, Secretary, and Fundraising Director. As of now, I only have one person who has expressed interest in running. Thank you for considering being a member and possibly an officer!
