Message from Ms. Rivera
Winter is definitely here, and although it is chilly outside, we are turning up the heat on learning in school! Our mid-year data shows that our students are making great strides academically. Every day when I walk the halls, I am so grateful for the amazing teachers and staff that we have. They constantly track student progress and make adjustments to reach every student on their level. They are the best!
As always, continue to support your child's learning at home. Click here to access Magnolia ISD's Curriculum Resources for Parents. In addition, attendance still matters. Of course, kids need to stay home if they are sick, but every day counts, so please make sure they get to school ready to learn on time each day.
Finally, we have a couple of exciting PTO events this month. To get involved with PTO, send an email to smithptomagnolia@gmail.com. Check the "Upcoming Events" section for more information, and also visit our website, and follow us on Twitter @CedricSmithElem.
