Blue print
Building a classroom on the concept of a blueprint (scaffolding). Students bring into the classroom their previous knowledge, the class shares their experiences, and the class, as a whole, moves forward building their individual blueprint while keeping the context of the classroom blueprint in focus.
Knowing students
Educators must have the ability to make connections to the students of their classroom. Education goes beyond handing out material or writing on a board. These connections allow the educator to assess the students life and create the appropriate learning environment in which the student is given the greatest opportunity to succeed.
Engage
Differentiated instruction allows the educator to present material in such a way that the whole classroom will find the subject matter, that may be otherwise basic, to a level of excitement or at the very least, a willingness of the students to engaged and participating in the learning experience.
