Retelling or Re-enacting a Story

Dear Parents,

It’s that time again where one week ends and a new one begins. This week your little ones will be learning a new theme and new skills. This week the objective we will be to retell or reenact a story after it is read aloud. With this activity students will learn new vocabulary words. Feel free to read the book so that maybe you can practice the new vocabulary words with your children in real life scenarios. They will have the option of drawing their own props for the reenactment of the story so please make sure students don’t forget to bring their markers, crayons, and glue to class. Keep in mind the upcoming events and remember we are still in need of volunteers for the fall festival. Like always feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Thank you for all the help and support you provide for your children.

  • We will be using a picture story book called “The Little Engine That Could.”
