Feminist Theory: what it is, why i chose it, and why it matters to me.
Selena Gomez & The Scene "Who Says" (2011)
The reason i chose this song is because it talks about how people try to discourage you. Selena Gomez is asking the person listening to the song who says your not pretty or you not good enough. I think this is the perfect song for this because a lot of times guys try and make girls think they aren't good enough for anyone or their body is good enough or they are pretty. Also guys and even some other girls make women feel like that cant be certain things such as president or go into the armed forces because they are too "feminine".
