Our Promise
Every student in Dallas School District is known by name, strength, and need, and graduates ready for career, college, and community.
Well that was fun!
This week I will be finalizing the Master Schedule and share it out with you. I hope that you have an enjoyable summer break. As decisions are made in regard to the next school year, I will be sure to share out that information in case we need to shift gears on what the school year will look like.
I appreciate you all and wish you a restful summer! Take care and be safe!

Once a Wildcat Always a Wildcat! Thank-you Brian, Monica, Melody, Shelly & Teresa
There are some things in the works for these great amazing people. Brian and Melody, we wish you the very best in your retirement. Our school is blessed to have had you for so many years!
Monica, we will miss you! Though we only were able to work with you for only a partial year, we appreciate what you were able to bring to LaCreole. We wish you the best in your next endeavor!
Shelly, thank-you for the energetic support of not only Javonte but of all our students and programs. We will miss you!
Teresa, we wish you the best in your transition to the land of littles. You have given so much of yourself to your kids and our school. You will be missed!
Thank-you!
Welcome Kyle!
This year's school closure has stretched many of our normal processes including filling our open positions. Our search for our next Assistant Principal was delayed due to scenarios regarding the budget forecast. After a few meetings, our team felt like Kyle would be a great fit for LaCreole!
It is my pleasure to welcome Kyle Mabry to our team and look forward to beginning our work for the next school year!
Welcome, Kyle!
Welcome to our family!
Along with Kyle who introduced himself above we are able to bring two other staff members on board for next school year.
We also welcome Charlotte Vidrio who joins us from previously teaching at Morrison Campus along with some other District duties. We were able to have Charlotte's own kids come through LaCreole and have a great relationship with her already. Charlotte is looking forward to joining our 6th-grade team teaching ELA!
We are looking forward to welcoming them all to the family in person and help them transition smoothly to their new positions. I believe each will be a great match for our school and am eager to help them get started.

Checkout procedure
The End of Year Checklist looks a little different due to distancing mandates. I've adjusted it so everything can be completed via email correspondence. We aren't checking keys in, but will need to complete an inventory, as that's an annual requirement. Please touch base with Joelle if you have questions about keys. I've attached the Teacher Check-Out List (button below) and I'll also share the End of the Year folder again. It's in the Wildcat Folder on Google Drive if you need to find it again.
Take care everyone, and please let me know if you have any questions!
Heather
Chromebook Update
Chromebooks
- If kids checked out a Chromebook for distance learning this school year, we are not going to have them check those back in. They are nearing "end of life" and will not be required to check back into the school district. Please encourage them to keep using them to support their schooling.
