Principal's Message
With blooms on the trees and flowers lining the walkways, it's hard not to feel a sense of gratitude for the warm, sunny days we're now able to enjoy. This sense of gratitude is prevalent throughout the Haynes community as we begin a new month together, grateful for the many people who make Haynes a special place.
This week we join with schools across the country to mark Teacher Appreciation Week. The important work done by our team of educators is always appreciated, and this week we make a concerted effort in honoring those who help our students to learn and grow.
Last week we celebrated Administrative Professional's Day, and recognized the important work that Marcy Sawin and Nancy Carbutt do in our front office to keep our school humming each and every day.
Next Wednesday is National School Nurse Day, an opportunity to celebrate the important people that keep us healthy and safe in school. At Haynes, we celebrate our own Lisa Nigrelli and all that she does for our community.
Thanks to everyone who has played a role in organizing or contributing to efforts to celebrate these wonderful professionals. Haynes School students are so lucky to have the team that they do, and our team is lucky to be so supported by all of you.
Our calendar is quickly filling with enrichment activities that feature guest programs and presenters. These opportunities are made possible by HOP and the generosity of those who contribute to and support the organization's fundraising efforts, not to mention the work of volunteer organizers and coordinators. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Jeff LaBroad
