All students and staff are encouraged to "Pink-out" and wear as much pink as possible! Those students not participating should be in uniform.

Shout-out to Ms. Irvin (aka Ms. G) - #EffectiveCommunicator - Ready to Lead. Always comes prepared and ready to engage with my class during PLC's. She gets really excited about the lesson and loves doing hands on activities with them. The students are always quiet and calm and doing their assignment when I return.

Shout-out to Ms. Gye - #Self-Managed - Ready to Lead - She watched my class in the morning when I had a doctor's appointment. When I returned, she was up and walking around teaching the students. Students were all focused and following along.

Shout-out to Miss Weidendorf - #Self-Managed - for preparing and executing effective lessons in Science! Her students recently scored 97% Meets and 58% Masters on Unit 4: Thermal Conductors & Insulators! Way to engage your students, Heidi!

Kinder ABC Parade - Wed. @ 8:30am
Kinder is having an ABC Parade Wednesday October 4th to celebrate learning all their letters.
-It will start at 8:30.
-Route: We will come up the back stairs through 4th hall, then to the front entrance for parents* to watch, then through 2nd & 3rd and down the hallway of 1st then back to kinder hall.
-We would love for your grades to help celebrate our kiddos by lining your hallways to clap for them to walk past.
*Parents should remain in the lobby if they choose to come and watch.

All teachers and staff required to attend. Each teacher/classroom should come up with an activity or game for this night. More info to come. If you want to help coordinate this event, let Garton know.

Fire Safety, 9:00-11:00am
In honor of Fire Safety Month, we will have the Fire Department, Fire Truck, and Fire Safety House at our campus. Students in K-2 will have an opportunity to visit and explore with the fire department. Please see Burgundie Smith with questions. She will send out a schedule and more details to you.

Our committee is here to help the members of Life School Lancaster in times of need as well as celebrate our accomplishments throughout the school year. We celebrate events such as birthdays, weddings, parties, holidays, and happy moments! See Mrs. Hildenbrand or Mrs. Carroll with questions. You can give money to Darlyn or Cyndi, or you can venmo
@cyndi-carroll-3. If you can't do the full amount, we will accept whatever you can give. We want to make sure we have enough for the year!

Student Safety Survey - THIS WEEK
Per TEA requirements, Life School is conducting a Student Safety survey for all K-12 students from October 2nd-5th. The survey, aligned with district values, will be distributed via ClassLink. This proactive approach ensures a positive school culture and helps address bullying. **Mrs. Evans sent out an email to all teachers.
Have you completed AND uploaded your Compliance Certificates?
If you have to complete the 30hr GT, here is some info for the online option. If you already completed the 30hrs, upload your certificate. You will then only need to complete the 6hr update.
