Partnering with the Principal

Our focus this year continues to be our faith through the Saints and the theme of service. This month the virtues program has a focus on mercy. St. John Vianney, St. Faustina, and St. Teresa of Calcutta are all examples of this virtue as they cared for those who suffer.

During Lent, we can lessen the suffering of others by donating our time, talent and treasures to many organizations. This Lenten season, St. Joe's is focusing on the Soles 4 Souls organization by helping those who suffer from poverty and want a better life, but lack opportunity. The organization gives your unwanted shoes to those who need them in the United States and around the world. We are also protecting the environment by putting the shoes to good use and keeping them out of a landfill. Please bring shoes to the morning drop off line or bring them to church and put them in the barrel. Thank you for helping us with this special project.

THANK YOU

Thank you to the dads, grandfathers, and friends of the school who attended the Donuts with Dads event and to the Home and School Association for their assistance with the event.

SPRING USED UNIFORM SALE

SAC Applications

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is an advisory body intended to advise and consult with school administration. SAC is currently accepting applications for new members, with terms to begin at the start of the 2023-24 school year. SAC members are expected to serve for three years and sit on one of the four sub-committees: Finance & Development, Marketing & Enrollment, Policy and Strategic Planning. Relevant experience within one of these categories is preferred, but not required. Both sub-committees and SAC meet once a month. Applications will be reviewed by the existing SAC Chair, Julie Hamiel, along with Principal Vance. Final recommendations to be approved by Fr. Creagan. Those accepted will be notified this spring. Questions? Please contact Julie Hamiel at hamiel32@yahoo.com.
