Character Trait:
The Character Trait for the month of November is Citizenship
The Character Trait for the month of November is Citizenship!
Citizenship is defined as the qualities that a person is expected to have as a responsible member of a community. We demonstrate our citizenship by showing respect, honesty, compassion, courage, etc. Good citizens are willing to learn, work hard, protect the environment, help others, respect people and property, and are considerate. Each of us are members of multiple communities โ home, school, local community, and digitally.
This month, talk to your children about how they can be good citizens in the different areas, as well as have them provide examples. Also discuss with them their rights and responsibilities of citizenship.
